CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:

4WD/AWD with 7+ inches of Ground Clearance is Absolutely Required! Turn traction control to โ€œoff โ€œ when climbing dirt roads. If you dont have a vehicle that meets these requirements you can not attempt.to access the ranch.

-Aim to arrive 5 minutes prior your reservation time unless you plan to hike. Current winter hiking conditions require snow shoes.

-Note that temperatures at 9000 feet elevation will generally be 15-20 degrees colder than Denver , and 5 degrees colder than dowtown Idaho Springs so you should pack a 2nd layer. In winter be aware of brief but strong wind gusts and the possibility of branches or other objects being tossed around by mother nature.

-Bring appropriate footwear, for rugged rocky mtn terrain , it is preferred to wear ankle supportive boots. Flip flops are fine inside the water but walking from your vehicle to the spa you will want something more protective.

Park in the flat area by the solar panels, Alex or Gabie will come check you In and show you where the amenities are and check for you that the prior guests have left or are working their way out. There is a heated cedar barrel sauna that is your private changing and base camp area. You may cross paths with prior guests so total privacy may be 55/60 minutes this can happen, however please be courteous to the next guests try not impose on the following reservation and linger more than 5minutes past your reservation time in the spa area. Ideally you would start to change and prepare to leave ahead of the hour. Privacy, low volume peaceful decompression and mellow relaxation is the vibe, for many folks it may be the only time they have in their busy lives to unwind so keep it mellow and respect privacy, when hiking please don't even come in any line of sight to soaking guests.

-COMING FROM BLACK HAWK, CENTRAL CITY, NEDERLAND, BOULDER, ROLLINSVILLE DO NOT USE DAKOTA RIDGE ROAD in Winter, Please Check the Snow Report page to see when Dakota Ridge Road Access Point is Open, In winter all the way through May it is usually not open.

-Please bring your own towels or rent towels with your reservation .

-No Glass Bottles!! No food in the water.

-Arrive 5 minutes prior to your soak time a host will greet you and check you in. If you want to come earlier and hike around (Spring/Summer/Fall) you may but please do not enter the Spa Area , ask the host for walking/hiking directions. Leashed dogs are welcome but please do not allow them in the water with you!

-On the morning of snowy days look out for our texts/emails/calls and please confirm you have received our instructions regarding the weather be it different access directions or confirmation of cancelation/refund due to hazardous access conditions. Safety of our guests is our number one priority, if weather conditions are bad where you are leaving from, even if they are fine here, please ask and we will be happy to provide a refund. We usually close and issue full refunds on days with active snowfall over 1 inch.
